2. An inflammation test. This is elevated in horses with ongoing gut issues- although ulcers are associated with elevated inflammation, this test also captures inflammation small and large intestines, which make up more than 90% of the total gastrointestinal tract.

3. A immune test. This is associated with gut barrier issues and ‘leaky’ gut. 

   
   

The inflammation and immune test are analogous to tests use to diagnose IBS/IBD/Crohn’s disease in humans (but horse markers). We can do this as a one-off or as ongoing monitoring.
