Precision from within

Professor Susanne Shultz
Director
Susanne is a professor at the University of Manchester. She previously held a Royal Society Fellowship at Oxford University after receiving her PhD from the University of Liverpool. She has published more than 120 articles on the conservation, behavioural ecology and physiology of >20 species across six continents. She is also an active member of the IUCN Equid specialist group and works on wild equids around the world. Her research still takes her to beautiful concervation dependent landscapes around the world. When not working, Susanne enjoys outdoor sports, including riding, hill walking, skiing and climbing, at a much gentler pace than in the past.
